Fire Training

We are pleased to offer two main types of training, Fire Wardens and Extinguisher Use. Both courses can be adapted to your company needs and is available at your premises or in our training room. The in house courses allow you to send staff in ones and two's, reducing your business downtime. We have some of the very best trainers in the South West, being recently retired senior Fire Brigade personnel.

Fire Wardens Training

Fire wardens training is a requirement of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety order, commonly a ratio of 1 in 10 staff should be warden trained. This may vary according to your Risk Assessment, you should also take into account shift changes, holidays and sickness to ensure sufficient cover at all times. Care homes and higher risk properties with vulnerable clients may need to drop to 1 in 5 or even 1 in 3 staff being fully trained.

The training needs to be refreshed "periodically" according to risk and risk assessment.

Fire Extinguisher Use Training

Fire extinguisher use training is commonly undertaken by all staff.
