We make every effort to both purchase recycled products and recycle, thus minimising our landfill burden.
 
We recycle 100% of all cardboard
We recycle 100% of all metal
We recycle 100% of all paper
We recycle 50% of plastic 100% where it is accepted by our local recycling depot
We have "no cartridge" thermal ink printers
Were possible recycle fire extinguisher media
We reduce unnecessary emissions and chemicals from extinguishers by using them for training purposes
We dispose of electrical devices to the WEEE directive
We have energy efficient lighting with occupancy sensors to automatically switch off the lights when not used
We a strict packaging policy with our suppliers to only use biodegradable / recyclable packaging, particularly the polystyrene (hated by the M.D.)
We make every effort to plan our work effectively to reduce our service mileage

Moving on, the next steps, 

For the future we will be aiming to use as high a percentage of Bio diesel as our vehicle stock will allow
